Wrapping up Holiday Baking

This week was extremely busy! Jim Sexton was here to play and sing to the residents. The Dunn Dulcimers were here to play music on their beautiful dulcimers. Rich Schroeder was here to entertain for our monthly birthday party. We would like to wish Eleanor Peterson, Archie Delong, Bea Axelson, and Leonard Owen a very happy birthday for the month of December.

We had Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause and their dog, Sarge, here for a visit.

The Elmwood 2nd graders also came to visit with the residents. We had the Elmwood High School students here to play bingo with residents on Friday, they had a great time! They also played bingo on Saturday with a game of blackout.

On Saturday we had Christmas carolers here to sing to the residents. Pastor Weaver was here for Methodist Church Service.  And Barb Cepek was here for Bible Class.

Our baking group worked hard this week to finish up the Christmas baking. They did a great job and we all enjoyed the delicious peanut butter blossoms they made!

We also started holiday baking this week, including, peanut butter fudge cups and peppermint patties-what a great baking smell!

On Tuesday and Saturday, we played bingo, including blackout bingo. Everyone was a winner!
