Two Frets Up visited for some great entertainment this week! We enjoyed by singing along and tapped our toes! Thank you for visiting, we had a wonderful time!

Hangman and Bingo were also played by the residents this week. We would like to thank the Alter & Rosary ladies for helping out and furnishing the prizes. Also, congrats to our Shuffleboard winner, Frances Fedie!

The Elmwood 2nd graders visited this week and read to our residents. We love when they visit and hearing them read to us.

Thank you to Barb Cepek for volunteering her time for Bible class. The blessing letter this week was the letter “A”.

Fun & Fit!

Thanks to Barb Cepek for leading Bible class and also for helping out with Catholic Mass. We’d also like to thank Father Prince for Catholic Mass along with Pastor Weaver for Methodist Church.

In baking group this week, we made cake. Fun & Fit was offered every morning. Some of the activities we did was parachute, kick the ball, hit the balloon around, bounce the ball back and forth, and morning stretches.

The Elmwood Kindergarten kids were here to visit and color with the residents. Shaker Dice and Shuffleboard were some of the games that were played throughout the weekend. Jim Sexton and Rich Schroeder were here for entertainment this week.

Elmwood Second Graders Visit

Recently the Elmwood 2nd graders visited our residents. This time they enjoyed coloring together. We all enjoyed the second graders’ company! Thanks so much for making it a part of your day!

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a happy and safe Christmas. We did some baking during the week. We made enjoyed spice cake.

We would like to thank Rock Elm Methodist for helping out with bingo on Tuesday and furnishing the bingo prizes.  Bingo was also played on Saturday with a game of blackout following. We also played Shuffleboard this week.

We enjoyed music with our country memories activity. There was plenty of singing and toe tapping. We organized an ugly sweater contest. This year our winners were Jordyn Loyas and Justin Weix. Congratulations to you both!

We brought in the New Year with a party! We enjoyed little smokies in BBQ sauce, a variety of cookies that were homemade by our baking group, as well as wine and sparkling grape juice.

In baking group, we made brownies and lemon bars. The ladies treated themselves to manicures throughout the week.

They played a variety of games this week. Flippo was played and everyone was a winner. We also enjoyed hangman, bingo and blackout. Bingo is played on Tuesday and Saturday and blackout was played on Saturday.

Father Prince joined us for Catholic Mass and also said the Rosary on Friday. We would like to thank Barb Cepek for helping out the service.

Residents enjoyed getting visits from family and friends throughout the weekend. We hope everyone had a Happy New Year!
