Good Weather, Great Fun!

We went on a beautiful Bus Ride.  The weather was great.  We went up around Exile and down through the valley of Eau Galle and back around to Elmwood.

We enjoyed Entertainment with Rudy Rudesill.  Lots of toe tapping and singing going on.

Bingo was played on Tuesday and Saturday with a game of blackout on Saturday.

Father Prince was here for Catholic Mass.  We would like to thank Barb Cepek for helping out with the service and also for leading us in Bible Class.  Blessing letter for the week was the letter C.

We got a game of Shuffleboard in with our top winner being Richard Schaffner.

Fun and Fit was held Monday through Friday.

Some of the ladies got their nails and hair done for the week.

Thank You Nurses!

It was Nursing Home Week, so we had many activities going on, including dressing in different color each day!

We started the week with Muffins with Mom on Sunday. It was a beautiful day to celebrate mothers.

The Phantoms brought their old cars in to show the residents, and Jim Sexton and Two Frets Up were here for entertainment during the week.

We also read some stories that were about our residents, along with looking at some antiques.

We enjoyed our last visit of the year with our 2nd graders from Elmwood School. They came to read to the residents.

During baking group, we made maple syrup pies and old-fashioned fry cakes. Yum, yum!

Bingo was played on Tuesday and Saturday, with a game of blackout on Saturday. We would like to thank the Alter & Rosary for hosting bingo on Tuesday.

We would like to thank Barb Cepek for volunteering her time to lead Bible Class.

Sunshine & Nature

On Thursday we visited in the Gazebo while enjoying the beautiful weather. We also got a nice bus ride in where we went up around Rock Elm.

Barb Cepek was here to lead Bible Class. We would like to thank her for volunteering her time. Barb also helped out with Catholic Mass on Friday. We would also like to thank Gerri Brunner for leading the Rosary.

Crafty – Crafty

We were busy with crafts this week along with making cards with Becky Smith. Thank you, Becky, for bringing in the stuff for them to put together.

Bingo was played on Tuesday and Sunday this week with a game of blackout on Sunday. Thank you to Jen Miller and her daughter, Bella for hosting Bingo.

A game of shuffleboard and flippo were played throughout the week. Our top winner of shuffleboard was Jimmy Pierce. Great job Jimmy!
