Getting Crafty!

We enjoyed hearing Mary Jane Singerhouse play the piano. We all listened and sang to the beautiful music. Jim Sexton also performed for us. It is always a good time listening to him play and sing.

Rosary was said, followed by Catholic Mass.  We would like to thank Barb Cepek for helping out with the service.

Shaker Dice, Shuffleboard and Bingo were played during the week.  Bingo was also played on Saturday with a game of Black Out.

They worked on some fun crafts on Saturday and some of the ladies got manicures during the week.

Heritage of Elmwood Creates a 2020 Strategic Plan

We are happy to announce we’ve completed our strategic planning for the year! After many hours of work and study, dozens of our leaders and stakeholders created our priorities to be the employer, provider, and partner of choice for the communities we serve.

On a cold January night, the strategic planning committee, under the leadership of CEO Raymond Weiss, led the groups through critical questions on our way to being the best organization we can be for the people we serve. We are excited to roll out these initiatives and will soon share them with you!

Hot Tunes and Chilly Weather

We enjoyed entertainment from Rich Schroeder this week. We did not have any birthdays for the month of January, but still celebrated with music from Rich!

Barb Cepek was here to lead us in Bible Class. Thank you Barb for volunteering.

Games we played this week were, Dominos, Flippo and Bingo. Bingo was played on Tuesday and a game of blackout on Saturday.

Pastor Weaver was here for Methodist Church Service.

Some of our ladies received stunning manicures.

We hope everyone is staying warm in this chilly weather!

Christmas Celebrations!

We had an enjoyable Christmas party with our residents!  We started our Christmas Party with Ellen reading ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, followed by our special guests Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Before dinner, the residents opened their presents from Secret Santa.  We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with all the holiday fixings.  We hope everyone else had a great Christmas as well!

Some games were played throughout the week including Shuffleboard, target shooting, Flippo and Bingo.

Bible Class was held on Monday.  Thank you to Barb Cepek for volunteering your time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
