This week our baking group made crock pot apple crisp to accompany the fall weather at Heritage of Elmwood. The apple crisp made the building smell wonderful and tasted just as good! In additional to the delicious treats, many of our ladies enjoyed being pampered with manicures.
We enjoyed many games and activities together. We played shuffleboard, shaker dice, and hangman throughout the week. Our residents also enjoyed playing bingo on Tuesday and Saturday.
We thank the folks who led us in religious activities, Pastor Bergenthal, Father Prince, Barb Cepek, and Gerri Brunner. Our residents enjoy the variety of services, bible classes, and special music led by these volunteers.
It was fun to have visitors and share our activities with family and friends!
