Halloween Crafting

posted in: News | 0

We were very lucky to have many visitors and special events this week!  Kindergarten aged children from Elmwood visited, and spent time creating a Halloween craft with the residents.  We always enjoy their visits and look forward to seeing them next month!

This week, we spent time together reminiscing.  Many of our residents spent time working on farms and with apples, and the fall weather reminds them of those activities.  While sharing memories, we enjoyed fresh popped popcorn.

Our residents enjoyed watching the exciting Green Bay Packers game on Sunday!  We also enjoyed caramel apple cupcakes made by the baking group and the music of Rich Schroeder.

Our religious activites included bible class, with the letter “T” as our blessing letter for the week.  We also hosted Methodist and Catholic services.  Thank you to Barb Cepek, Gerri Brunner, Robertta Holcomb, Pastor Weaver, and Father Prince for volunteering their time to facilitate these activites.
