Independence Day Celebrations

Our residents enjoyed getting visits from family and friends on Independence Day and throughout the holiday weekend. We hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth of July.

We made homemade cherry ice cream this week which we enjoyed eating on Thursday for lunch. Lots of cranking was done to make it, but it so worth it.

Pastor Bergenthal was here for Lutheran church service. A couple games of shuffleboard were played with our top winner being Richard Schaffner with Jimmy Pierce coming in second.

We would like to thank Barb Cepek for volunteering her time to come and hold bible class. The blessing letter for the week was the letter S.

We enjoyed a sing along in the chapel this week as well. There was lots of good music and singing going on.

Bingo was played on Monday and Saturday with a game of blackout being played on Saturday.
