Residents Celebrate Dairy Month for the Month of June

To start, we would like to thank our veterans who served for us, Dalen Gunderson and Richard Schaffner.

June is Dairy Month, and throughout the month we will be enjoying a variety of dairy products. We started this week by having root beer floats.

Our baking group was busy making peach kuchen bars and watermelon poke cake for suppers throughout the week.

Our ladies got some pampering this week with manicures.

We got our minds going with some trivia, a great way to exercise the brain, and everyone did some stretches in our fun and fit group.

Our residents enjoyed playing bingo this week, and we would like to thank Robertta Holcomb for furnishing the prizes and helping out. Everyone then enjoyed some treats.

A game of shaker dice was played with our top winner being Jimmy Pierce and Joan Binkowski coming in second.

Pastor Freiberg and Pastor Bergenthal were here for Lutheran Church Services along with the rosary, and Father Prince was here for Catholic Mass. We would like to thank Barb Cepek for helping out with the Mass.
